nature heron

Very nice image. Beautiful capture of the heron. The image is strage because you get no sense of depth on the rocks so the depth seems way to small for this bird to be standing on, landing on or whatever. That is not meant to be a criticism, just an observation. I like the basic composition even if it is very centered. Nicely done.

I really like this, because the geometric forms of the rocks frame the heron very nicely while their box-like appearance is a welcome contrast (of form) to the curved neck and spread wings.
