A man on the edge

I like the composition and the concept of the image. B&W also works well as it keeps the focus on the man and the post in the water.

What I would consider to improve if given the opportunity: the white puffy clouds could also play a role in the picture. Being behind the post somehow breaks the harmony. Maybe taking the picture from a higher place would separate them.

I would also try to frame the post a little more to the left to bring it in balance with the man. This would be done by stepping back. 

In any case a picture that makes one think and is overall attractive to watch.
