This works -- lighting offers some drama, good detail in the darks. I like the hair cascading down her face -- it helps separate this portrait from a conventional image plus it adds a bit of mystery.

This is a good portrait: I especially like the composition and lighting. My only nitpicking is on the hairs in front of the model's eyes. I think they are distracting and make me want to blow them out of the way. The same could be said about the strand of hair right below the model's neck, but that is less prominent. Nice job and hope my comments are useful.
