oscar1 0 Posted September 10, 2003 Here you have a portrait of one of my friends, Claire, taken when we were waiting to ve served in a restaurant. I would want to know if you like the composition and the lighting: she in the shade and all the background with blow-out lights. No crops or digital alterations. Scanned with a cheap flatbed scanner from a 18 x 18 cm copy. Thanks in advance, Oscar Link to comment
terrence_thompson 0 Posted September 10, 2003 The background, hands and other parts of the body are overexposed and blend together. Link to comment
connealy 0 Posted September 10, 2003 I think the high key illumination is a good match for the mood of the subject and the setting, an open-air cafe refuge from a hot day.I think you are doing nice work with that old Autocord. I am going to follow your example and try some portraits with my Yashicamat sometime soon. Link to comment
