At the time I rated this image yesterday (6 or 7, I don't recall), I decided it deserved a second look.  So here I am.

The image has several very strong elements: the use of selective focus, the dramatic three-dimensional appearance of the pages, and the provocative contrasts.  In my opinion, this photograph qualifies as a museum piece; I will place it immediately into my Favorites.
