Hard to blend in.

At first I thought the objects in the upper left were distracting and unnecessary.  Then I thought a bit more and took a second look at the image and reached just the opposite conclusion.  If you hadn't included them, the image would be far less interesting, consisting primarily of 2 parallel, diagonal lines.

If an abstract photograph does nothing but evoke reactions like, "Ooh, nice colors and patterns", it doesn't do much, in my opinion.  This photograph does much more.
