This picture has been taken in the Province of Yauyos in the department of

Lima, Peru at an altitude of about 14,700 feet. This place is very lonely,

only a few cars pass through the route Huancayo-Yauyos , but it has

beautiful scenery. Thanks for commenting.

This is beautiful work.  I love the reflection and this is what initially caught my eye.  But after further study I am very impressed with the lighting and colors.  Your title is also appropriate because this scene appears to be very serene.  Bravo!

You are right to see this in large view,is an incredible landscape almost feel the serenity,and all this over 14000ft almost like highest peak in EU,imagine that bg mountain has over this lake another thousands of ft.For sure is an unique place and is preserved so as nature did it and this is very good.Compliments for this photo.

The route starts in Huancayo from an altitude of 11,000 feet, climbed to 15,400 feet and then gradually descend to the coast. The scenery is beautiful, but the road has many curves and is very narrow, there are many areas where only one car can pass.
