Nice picture. It's not very often that you see girls playing the drums.

Might work better as a landscape with focus on drummers' faces and cutting across middle of drums.

Nice shot! I like the vertical format ... I think you need to see the stance that each girl is taking. It's wonderful that you caught these expressions on their faces. Great capture!

Sorry to disagree, but I think this shot could be much improved. The people in the background distract from the drummers, which don't have compelling expressions. But my biggest complaint is cutting off the woman's feet. It make the photo feel awkward.

I agree that the people in the background are distracting and add "busy-ness" to the photo and the comment about the cut-off feet is a valid one BUT I think we have to consider the context of this photo. It's a candid street scene vs being a posed studio shot. What are the odds that two musicians would be playing in an empty street or with nobody around them? Given those elements, I think Lluisa has captured these young ladies "in action" very well! You can see from the expression on their faces that they're really into their drumming. I'm not sure what style you'd call this.. photojournalism? In any event, this is about capturing real life and I think she has succeeded. Perhaps next time she'll remember the feet and not cut them off? There's room for improvement in all of us :-)
