Maybe the saturation of the blues and cyans help tame the intensity of her light sweater-jacket.  Her face and expression are powerful enough to draw the viewer's eyes no matter what you do.  I am uploading a more realisitic color interpretation of your image---and I have no idea which I think is the stronger version.  It is a matter of personal taste.  Your image is fine, as is.
