neil_lupin 0 Posted September 9, 2003 nice abstract and sense of scale - is this desaturated in PS though? Link to comment
anthonyirik 0 Posted September 10, 2003 No PS'ing - I think the darkness on the right was caused by my ill-mannered slidescanner - Link to comment
robfu 0 Posted September 12, 2003 I am alway's gathering ideas to get me going and this one has caught my eye. Can you give more details as to when and at which location you shot it from. Not that I want to see hundreds of enthusiasts out there on the weekend trying to get the same shot, just that sometimes you get frustrated when you see something so well executed and want to see if you can pull something like this off yourself. I think the darkness adds to the mistery of where they are heading. Link to comment
anthonyirik 0 Posted September 12, 2003 The hardest thing is keeping the lines of the bridge parallel - Its a mismatch of not being too close whereby you develop diverging lines/perspective, and not being too far away so that you need to excessively enlarge the image/invest in a honking great telephoto. I was standing at the end of the Overseas passenger Terminal - where all the cruise-ships moor up - Shot using 300mm/f8 or f11. Link to comment
dennis ho 0 Posted October 11, 2003 this is an amazing shot. really striking. i'd like to see an undarkened version... i never realized you could walk on that bridge, much less that you walk on the top like that. don't you get tired? Link to comment
