The sea shore

Thanks in advance for your comments. Does the cropping work for you,

or should I have shown more of the beach / sea, or the horizon ?

I think the crop works perfectly. I thought when I saw the thumbnail that it was a panoramic shot. Congratulations!

I like the cropping -- at first I this was at a much different scale. I'm not so sure about the plane of focus -- when I look at this I see the thing in the surf (at first I thought it was a person, but now I just don't know) as the center of interest, and would like it to be sharper. More DOF or shift the focus.

Thanks for your comments and ratings. I realise that the object on the durf is kind of distracting - it is just a piece of debris which was not the object of focus. I just couldn't crop the image in a way to remove it. But I agree that a higher DOF would make the image better.

I like the way the sense of scale is not immediately clear and my eye has to find a frame of reference. Nice job.
