...but Lucille is going to get a lot more work than my models. They do charge a lot less though on a per session basis.

Hey clever idea! You know what would be cool if you have enough "models" would be to recreate one or more of the famous picnic paintings! I think it would make a great folder and be clever! I love the concept. Just a few comments on the pose. I found it a little jumbled and busy so I scored lower on the asthetics

Very creative, good composition and lighting.

There is however some disharmony and I belive that

if you erase the white frame of the boy scout

it may improve it.

I've been meaning to come back to this photo and leave a comment, but with all that's been on the telly lately, I got held up! Now, let's see: good composition here with some strong diagonals. Also, I like how the lady on the left is gazing at her friend; I would have liked to see the lady on the right smiling a bit more - as it is, she looks a bit lifeless...

Hmm, I don't know if it's my eyes (I'm not 16 anymore you know!), but that paler leg - it must be female because it looks like it goes on and on and on! How many knees does it have, anyway? Have I gone blind?! Jeff, it's always been one of my fantasies to picnic in the nude, but so far I've been to shy! - I am shy, you know! Maybe your photo will enable me to work up the courage to do it!

"Disturbing with the picture of the boy"...gimme a break. When is this freakish, male-feminism,hideyerchillenfromnudityequalssexequalsdebauchery crap going to stop? For chrissakes they're f**king manniquins. When I was the age of dimpletwat in the picture this is exactly how I viewed women. They were so unatainable they might as well been behind glass and far above.

 

Anyways subjecting kids to para-military organizations disturbs me more.

Your composition is very good. The image is well balanced and the colours are vibrant.

 

I'm not too sure about your models though. This must be their first shoot... they look a little stiff and unaturally posed. Tell them to relax, take it easy and enjoy the sun. There's potential, but the models need to cooperate more.

 

Also, my wife wants to know how your models got such smooth legs. What's the name of their aesthetician?

This is funny, you should do some more of these. Are these life size by the way? I have one that I have been doing stuff with, artistically that is.

 

I have a friend who paints dolls/dummies etc. I had no idea how many people were doing this though until a few years ago.

I think you have solved the problem of having to pay models.

This is nice also--but what happened to the vehicle from the other shot? Anyway. Nice image. Harmless and fun. Cheers!!
