oh fearless one

This seems to have been taken through a window. Viewed large you can see the weave of the curtain on the left. Cozy for you but the little fellow seems amazingly chipper for all the falling snow. This is a picture that can easily be passed over and missed but taking the time to look at it, especially viewed large, it's quite charming.

Sometimes I wonder about the animals out in the cold weather. I know I would be bored and cold. I guess that it's all a matter of what you're used to. What a life. While I'm sitting in a warm house, at my computer commenting on photos and drinking wine with the TV on; this little bird is sitting outside on a branch, cold, snow blowing, food hard to find - and it doesn't even have an iPhone to order a worm.
