This represents how tiny we are in the grand scheme of things. That huge background behind our shadowed man, to add a bit more drama we have gulls on the right side carrying on, brilliant to convert it to black and white, bravo!

Hi Stanislav,  There are many things I like about this image: The square format, composition, white and black, the dramatic sky, the lighting, and of course ... the man at the pier. I love the amount of detail that we see here.
