That little shadow just made my day.  Great capture of such a happy family moment.  The post production color/filter choice was perfect and accentuates the warmth of the moment.

Clearly the image strongly implies the child's joy playing on the beach.  As a matter of personal preference, I'd like to see his face and his father's.  I do like the strong contrast between the beach's vivid detail and color and the ocean's smooth character and pale color.
