You've painted a captivating, rich, inviting, luxurious collage of color, shape, and texture.  Your layering techniques are paying off big time.

Again, a butterfly seems to play a major role here.  The Cherokee views the butterfly as a sign of change, of transformation.  You couldn't have chosen a more appropriate symbol.

My best always,

I love Butterflies. When I visited Butterfly World in Coconut Creek, FLA, one of the first places you walk into, is a place where there are so many Butterflies flying around you, it was 'magical'!! I have never experienced such a sensation before. I had such a feeling of 'freedom' and 'lightness' around them. I don't see too many Butterflies where we live, so it was a real treat. I am enjoying using layers, experimenting with new techniques. It truly keeps my mind in a 'good place' when my mind would otherwise be 'busy' with too many thoughts. Good therapy!!

Sincere thanks for that lovely comment Michael. Kind regards, Gail

I love these composed images...not easy but can be very fulfilling. This one in particular, IMHO, is like a dream sequence revealing much and with much to discover: enigmatic but beautiful. Hooray!
