Larry_G1664882113 15 Posted March 8, 2014 Jim, You have captured the falls extremely well with a nice amount of motion and detail. I like the image, yet have a couple questions. Is the image a bit over sharpened? This is solely your view. The other question is whether a wider angle shot - you may have one - would show more context of the scene, thus enhancing the overall natural impact? It tough to express this question in words. Nice image. Larry Link to comment
jimpete 0 Posted March 8, 2014 Thanks for the comments/observatons Larry. There was quite a bit of downed debris in the area so this was the only practical/safe vantage point. I really liked the shape of the falls and was trying to emphasize that. Yes, I suppose it may be a bit oversharpened for web. Thanks again for the comments. I appreciate it. Jim Link to comment
donbright 706 Posted March 17, 2014 Jim,Well done, and what a great place. I like how the fall moves to the right at an angle, then moves to the left, at an angle. It's not just a frontal right left. Also, the entire frame in focus, nice! Link to comment
ryourth 0 Posted November 14, 2014 HI Jim- SUPERB!! Have been enjoying your fine image for he last while, as soon as I came upon it I could feel myself starting to relax & enjoy all the fine features & details, the low saturated greens & dark areas help create a pleasant scene.Your POV & the fine detail are very good. This is the best landscape I have seen in a long time. Will be revisiting this fine image many times Best Regards-Ross Link to comment
