Nice to see your work here as well. This is a beauty of nature scattered all over,and still human and nature has a very nice correlation. A real beautiful winter  B/W (as in reality) composition!

Man, a lot of us can relate to this shot.  Look at the wind debris! Thom is right, though I think he could include most of the northern states and most of our Canadian provinces this past winter.   What really makes this one for me is the human element.  Most of us are likely saying, "That's me there".  By printing the snow as gray, the ugly face & mood of winter is portrayed more accurately.  Love the composition too; the person visually balancing the heavier tree.  Your B&W presentation is a natural for this monochrome scene.  Wouldn't be much colour anyway.  Good one for your efforts Ken.  Don't be a stranger!  Best, LM.
