frank_thomas3 0 Posted September 3, 2003 This is a beautifully lighted and composed photo. The skin tone color is excellent! Unfortunately there are 'jaggies' along the forehead, upper lip and knuckles. How is this image lighted? Link to comment
amanda mumma 0 Posted September 3, 2003 This photo is divine, the skin tones are excellent and I love both the lighting and the tight crop - absoulutely gorgeous. Link to comment
margaret_s. 0 Posted September 3, 2003 Terrific photo. The skin tone looks like it's been softened in Photoshop.. because the rest of the photo is sharp, except for maybe part of the hair where the softening bled into. Is this correct? It's still a great photo :-) Link to comment
wogears 186 Posted September 4, 2003 Lip color is a bit unnatural, otherwise excellent. Link to comment
kristian h 0 Posted September 4, 2003 Thanx ! Yes its manipulated or the skin is softer than original. The light is natural and the picture is taken at a McDonalds restaurant. :) The blurry white thing just above his right eye is something on the wall and is also on original picture. To be honest I really dont like to manipulate portraits on children even if the result is good i think that you lose some personality. So in my eyes the picture is as dreamy as he is :) Kristian Link to comment

dlegaspi 0 Posted September 6, 2003 ...seems to be overprocessed with neat image or somethin'...the skin look smeared to me imho... Link to comment
bradywilks 0 Posted September 14, 2003 duplicated layer... gausian blur and erased focal points like eye nose lips and hair etc.? Link to comment
kristian h 0 Posted September 14, 2003 As mentioned before I personally dont like manipulate with pictures on children, but with his dreamy style on this photo I thought that some retouch increased the daydreaming feeling. This is the result of adding some blurry look with NI (Neat Image) and a second layer in PS where there is a layer mask makes the normal sharpness of the eye visible. I know that I have added a little too much effect if the purpose for this was to make him look nicer, but my aim was to make him look more "dreamy" ;) Link to comment
