Nice picture, Tony. It's the little dashes of color in the tail lights that make shot for me. Looks like you have a lot of snow, which looks great in an abstract like this but must be hard to deal with over a long period when you have to go about your business and live your life. I guess you adjust to the winters just like we humans adjust to everything else. I've lived 27 years in Japan and still don't speak Japanese worth a damn but all you have to get through is one day at a time.

Jack - Thanks. As I age, I have almost (key word) acquired the art of ignoring those things over which I have no control. Instead, I try to eke out the positives - no mosquitoes, no skin cancer, got this image and I spent time observing my granddaughters tobogganing after I picked them up from school. Then it was monoply and teaching one of them to adapt a winning strategy and not let grampa off the hook. I will be thinking about that for a while. Did I do the right thing?

So, you see, I eked out this photo and some other benefits to this weather.

All the very best,

Abstract reality... but then, don't you guys have wipers?  LOL  I really like this because it evokes emotion and tells a story.  Good stuff... Mike

Interesting shot. i like that you focused on the drops on the windshield and let the objects beyond fade to a blur. This is different from what most would have done the other. I like the shading with just the hint of color from the tail lights. This must have been a shock when you returned from the islands. I would go back for another month. Well done.

Mike - we even change from summer to winter blades but I wanted this to be a shot with snow on the windshield but you probably guessed that. All the best and thanks for the visit and kind words.

Charles - thanks. I don't let the weather get the best of me. But I am scheming to see if I could become a 'snow bird' and spend more time down south next year.

Another great work.  Feel warm inside and feel cold outside.  Let us image the outside.  Best Regards,
