vab3 0 Posted September 3, 2003 This is my second time out with Fuji Velvia. Any thoughts on exposure or use of the polarizer? Link to comment
d._p.1 0 Posted September 3, 2003 the lack of detail in the darker shadows seems one of the side effects of the pola, but it looks quite nice to me, and the blue sky is o.k. as well. But the green grass (and, actually, the green haze all over the picture) looks quite funny dont you think? Or did that happen in PS? Link to comment
vab3 0 Posted September 3, 2003 Thanks. I may have adjusted the hue. I'll go find the original scan and post a thumbnail. What about the difference between this photo (taken with velvia) and this one (taken with a 2MP digital in "vivid color" mode) Link to comment
d._p.1 0 Posted September 3, 2003 It depends on what you want. The Velvia one looks like an old postcard that's been sitting in the little mill outside the tourist shop in rain and shine for the last 40 years... i actually collect those early colour postcards... but someone else(and possibly the photo editor) would prefer the second. Technically speaking, i have no clue about colour (-film). It's a science on itself. good luck! Link to comment
vab3 0 Posted September 4, 2003 This is a clip right from the CD. I had adjusted the hue slightly to the positive side in photoshop to get the sumbitted photo above. Link to comment
