Dear Ian,

This man, before he got mad taught thousands of teenagers and talked to them openly and sincerely! They always obeyed his "talking"!

Thank you for your sincere comment!

Madman eh, self portrait ? ... : -)

How much genius exists in this world without a little madness or at least some eccentricity .. but I don't see any madness here Pierre, just intensity which is another quality necessity for success.

You choose to show this portrait in a shadow, hence the interpretation must include some ambiguity, but then your works are always subject to individual interpretation, and so the search goes on .... as always, an interesting work, one that requires some study to appreciate it fully.

John,

I admire your comments with such a precise technique of saying things, always exactly the same technique of some kind of mixture of philosophy and diplomacy! I can't describe exactly what I want, sorry!

Thank you for your nice comment!

The lighting is more delicate than you might guess, my friend! There is a 32 LEDs ring flash and a white table lamp of 100W from the right side, exposure time 1/25 sec, f/2,8 at ISO 100! And there is a special technique to get a quite black background in the end!

Finally, I'm satisfied with the result and it's only problem to remember all that, cause there were a lot of wrong combinations!

Thank you for your visit and right comment, Vlad!

Hello Pierre, I’m sure this is a self portrait. Mad men? I don’t think you are mad men, perhaps you can be mad at so many things going on in this world that you and I cannot change, we become observers and we see the injustice and craziness of all, sometimes we want to scream, to take action in the drama, but sadly we realize we cannot do nothing, we don’t have the influence or the power to do it. So you are analyzing  the situation and became very serious and snapped the picture. Yes Pierre this world is crazy, but you are not a madmen.

Warmest regards,

LuDa

Dear Luisa,

Let us turn all you said the other way round! The mad world, the respectful heads of banks, firms, politicians, producers of drugs, producers of genetically altered food...etc think of themselves as of normal, respectful people, than I and you are mad, ha! That's the point!

Thank you for your comforting comment!

Why madman? I keep looking into his eyes - hard to imagine he is.... I cannot say I saw many madmen to recognize, but once I was attacked by one. No, that one looked like mad ( I mean a mentally sick man). This one looks like a WISE man.... May be it is the same, though.... Warm regards, Tamara

Tamara,

Madman is not the same with wise, it's the same with genius! Although some say there is a tiny line between them which I oppose!  Doesn't have to be a line! There are a lot of theories and don't want to enter in theorizing!

Thank you for your precious visit dear Tamara, please come again some time!

Yes, Jamie, your brother must have seen it and described it thoroughly to you so that you think you have already seen it!

Thank you for your three precious visits, again!
