hstelljes 41 Posted February 1, 2014 Hi Len, The panoramic sizing and shape of this image really helps the extension of the "trails". This is well seen and presented (sorry for using that old adage but it's so true here). I also like the b&w tones. Take care Len, have a great weekend.BR,Holger
LenMarriott 9 Posted February 1, 2014 Many thanks for your contribution. I've always felt that the subject matter should determine the aspect ratio so this one was a no-brainer. The range of tones was compliments of Portra 160NC. Having now gone digital I'm no longer concerned with film anymore but if I were to miss one film Portra would be it. Best, LM.
greg mccracken 13 Posted February 4, 2014 Great composition and exposure! I can just picture the little fellow bouncing through this scene.
LenMarriott 9 Posted February 5, 2014 I thought it worth investing a frame on. And I still think it was worth it. Best, LM.
LenMarriott 9 Posted February 7, 2014 Your constructive comment\critique will be gratefully received. LM.
alfbailey 6 Posted February 7, 2014 Lovely fine textures and sharp details! I like the little story that the tracks allow to manifest in my over fertile imagination. The mouse, indecisive at first, starts his swift but arduous journey in the top right corner, unsure and going back on himself, he finally summons the courage to continue! Wary of predators and frozen feet, he makes a wide berth of the precarious looking grasses, races up the hill, heart pounding and tiny lungs gasping! Only to discover that someone has stolen his hidden acorn!Love it! Best Regards Alf
LenMarriott 9 Posted February 8, 2014 Methinks you've watched too many episodes of 'Ice Age'. Sounds much like my favourite character, Skrat. What does that say about my entertainment leanings? :-) Poor guy, I think his acorn would be about 4 ft down at this time of the year. Great story though. It's kind of fun to let one's imagination run wild at times. Thanks for your visit & thoughts. Best, LM.
