Mille grazie!

Welcome Patrick, long time no see, my friend!

B&W is because they were wearing very non fitting colors clothing! Colors and patterns... it is possible to resolve in one touch of a button and I did it!

Thank you for your visit and comment!

I really like this one as it  grabs your attention right away. It is the kind of image that would  cause one to walk across a room for closer viewing. The detail and the shadows are beautiful. Congratulations!

This must be the rest of the family looking for their relative in the first photo.  I'm afraid they're all going to get heat stroke!

Except the lizard.

It didn't occur to me, Alan!

I rather look at them as someone who is going to Picnic! Very relaxed and in a good mood company! They don't fear the sunlight, the heat and the deserted area, they are just walking very well tempered!

Thank you for your witty comment, Alan!

Looks to be a nice multi-generational catholic family and a nun to make sure they don't even think about birth control. Or as they say down at the church... LETS BREED!

Maria,

The black and white was inevitable solution cause they have non fitting clothing colors and patterns, as I said once already above!

Thank you for your visit and kind comment!

For me this colorless Desert variant looks really more optimistic than the Loner in the Desert, Pierre. Kids always create more positive feelings. Heavy but excellent work with shadows – tonality is great. Best Regards.

Evgeni,

I don't know why many people look on the "Loner in the desert" like a story of some desperate man lost in the desert! It looks to me that the loner is absolutely careless and he whole picture looks to me even funny and this one is jolly!

Thank you very much for your contribution to the critique of this image!

Inventive and fun, well done.  And that rhymes too.  Thanks for your recent comments. I really appreciate them.   Stay warm my friend,  winter is being really serious this year, cold and a ton of snow.   rek

I love the choice of black and white in this one Pierre .. it evens out the differences between age and sex, it also mellows time and space. We have discussed our journeys before, one is never alone, the past and present always accompany us, as do others that our related to our goals.

The image brings to mind an old ethnic parable from a millenium ago, I do hope no one takes offense as most certainly it is not meant in that light .. "woman is the camel on which man rides across the desert of his life".   In this case, it is the children that advance with the support of their elders, some our fortunate to have that guidance, others not.

An interesting image once again Pierre, bravo.

Thank you for your poetry, Richard!

Yes, I also saw snow once or twice this winter, the day before yesterday my thermometer on the balcony showed 22C!

Very interesting view you have, John!

About the camel I agree 100%! But, maybe it was meant for throughout the history, today everything is so different from yesterday, marriages don't last long, the camel won't take her burden anymore or the other part doesn't appreciate the role of the camel...

Thank you for your visit and interesting comment, John!

Dear Gail,

I don't think I quite understood what you wanted to say?! The "receiving" made me be confused!

Thank you for your visit and comment

Fascinating and impressive, creative art work. Pierre, if Homer lived our time, perhaps he would have used the same medium as yours.  Excellent work.

Welcome Bachir,

No doubt he would, my friend! Clairvoyant I would have been if I lived in his time, just like him, you know what I mean, a backward prophet! Ah, my English! Can't say what I want to say!

Thank you for your original thought! And, first of all for your sincere compliments for this image!
