pnital 36 Posted January 20, 2014 This is a very impressive " stone'? art carving, that depicts human activities and their life state of being(most of the figures are in a nude poition... ;-)). I wonder if there is some knowledge who are the artist(s) that did this work?Anyway, a very interesting work.!I like the angle that shows the sky in the BG.Real nice photography of yours , Tibi. tibig 0 Posted January 21, 2014 Pnina and LaurentThis is a composite image not a single structure, kind of an attempt to reconstruct the overall impression of this small island town. The works are as far as I know from the 15-th century, no idea about who the artists were. The upper and lower figures are above the main doors of two different churches, the four figures that I laid out as an X are actually gargoyles (the upper left one on the main church, the other three on houses).
