This is a pregnant male. ( The males carry the babies!) The seahorses

are in a 72 gallon tank. Sometimes depending in the time of day, the

reflections on the tank and lighting inside the tank create some very

dramatic effects. They are also difficult to photograph because they

are always moving around. This one was shot with an f1.8 50mm prime

lens on a Nikon D5100.

Hello, This is a nicely composed image, with decent sharpness and clarity. I've taken many aquarium images over the years, with varying success, but I've never had the opportunity to keep seahorses. Well thanks for sharing this nice image with us.
