And before you know it he'll be asking for an entirely different set of 'wheels'.  They grow up so fast!  Cute shot!  Glad to see he's wearing pads and a helmet!

Christal:  He's already asked for the car keys--"just to hold them for awhile."  Um, yeah, right.....  There's "art" photography and "heart" photography.  They say that parenthood is like watching your heart walk around outside your chest, and I've come to believe that's pretty true.

Donna:  We're pitbulls regarding safety.  If I could encase him in bubblewrap, I'd do it.  He did skateboarding camp last summer and wanted to go out last weekend when the weather was nice.  What's a dad to do with such an earnest request? He's not very adept with the skateboard, but fortunately I brought his scooter, and he was in motion for a solid hour.

Noah looks so sweet and happy on the weels. His smile (with the upper missing tooth...;-)) his gesture  of a winning skater... are so  warming and touching!

The light lines are adding  to the whole, like a"racing field"...

Beautiful timing, and YES! I understand your analogy of fatherhood( parenthood) very well ...;-))

Great capture of Noah on his 'board'!! Hope you show him this one when he is older and so much braver!!! My son is 34 and was bullied at school because he skateboarded back in Grade 7. At that time, Tony Hawke was such a Rebel and so many thought he was a joke. Little did they know he'd end up a Billionaire!!! My son Jess bought my Grandson a skateboard for his 10th birthday last July. I recall the days when Jess went through 2-3 pairs of 'skate' shoes from Spring to Fall. I soon had to make a deal that if he saved his allowance, I'd match it by mid summer so he could buy a pair himself!!! Noah looks so happy. This one is a keeper Jeff!
