Pierre Dumas 280 Posted January 14, 2014 Gary, I would like to have a more specific question! It's simply a montage of a lot of layers, some on PSD files, like the lizard, trees, the guy and the shadows made of their copies! The ground is some texture I found free of charge and the far background is a simple photo of my environment with predominant sky on it! Thank you for your comment and question, hope I answered it well! Best regards PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted January 14, 2014 Nebojša, went that far, my friend? Congratulations! Best regards from Sk at Mk! PDE Link to comment

morophaenixmau 22 Posted January 14, 2014 Caro Pierre, questa volta non mi soffermo sui significati psicologici della tua composizione ma sulla tua bravura nel disegnare le ombre che sono semplicemente perfette!!! Link to comment
jorge_fernandez3 1 Posted January 15, 2014 This is the story of a cuban Dude from Miami that just had enough of the heavy traffic and bad drivers and just took off and you found him! He! Warm regards my friend. Link to comment
michaellinder 16,612 Posted January 15, 2014 It strikes me as somewhat odd that this man is casually walking through a harsh desert environment wearing shorts and a teeshirt. The sun is shining directly into his eyes, and yet he is not wearing sunglasses. He is either the eternal optimistic, and deluding himself that he will be able to sustain his life, or he is committing slow suicide. This is why he is considered a loner. Contemplating suicide is strictly personal. Link to comment
phillips 0 Posted January 15, 2014 The image can stir up any number of story lines-really creative, and very well executed. Congratulations, Phil Link to comment
timothymuffitt 1 Posted January 15, 2014 Hi Pierre,Maybe it is just me, but I find it interesting that this is a decidedly 21st century man in a completely timeless surrounding. Actually the scene (minus the man) has an ancient feel to it...not sure why, but that is what I get from it. Then here is this totally modern man in the midst of it, perhaps that contributes to the sense of loneliness coming off the scene.Very nice!Tim Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted January 15, 2014 Maurizio, caro amico, ti spiegherò come ho fatto le ombre e quindi devo lasciare italiano e parla inglese: The shadows are in fact copies of the objects which are separate layers as PSD files! I make copy layer, flip vertically, adjust the form to fit the needs as a shadow, place it where it should be, send that new layer back to the original layer, darken it to totally black, then adjust the transparency (opacity) to look like a real shadow and add "blur more" filter several times also in that order! That's all Ciaomau Pietrro il intenditore, questa volta, ah! Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted January 15, 2014 Mon ami, Jorge! Muchas gracias por su comentario y tu hermosa historia!! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 280 Posted January 15, 2014 Michael, As I said above, maybe he just stepped out of his Jeep and to tell you the truth I forgot to put sunglasses to this one! Therefore, he doesn't commit suicide necessarily, just has forgot his sunglasses in his Jeep when he wiped his sweat from his face after the long driving.... Thank you for your visit and precious comment! PDE Link to comment

Pierre Dumas 280 Posted January 15, 2014 Hi, Timothy! I don't know why the environment looks old to you, but I know why it looks unreal! That's a surreal picture and all my pictures are like that! This maybe looks like Alice in wonderland! Reminds of it, that is! Thanks for your visit and your interesting comment, my friend! PDE Link to comment
