elias 0 Posted May 11, 2001 I took this photo for an article about AIDS incidence on indigent groups such as hobos. I would like constructive critique on subject, composition and whether or not digital is the best medium for these type of photographs. Link to comment
s.pawlowski 0 Posted May 11, 2001 I think this picture could do well with a little digital editing. First, i'd make it b/w with higher contrast. The strong colors don't go well with the purpose of portraying a lonely person. Also, I'd crop the pic on the top and bottom to put more emphasis on the subject. Link to comment
elias 0 Posted May 12, 2001 I left the picture in color because the way I see it is that everyone else is living his own bright, brisky, occupied, busy day EXCEPT the lonely woman who is only looking everybody pass by. She is not LIVING, everyone else is. But that is only my point of view. Link to comment
Landrum Kelly 65 Posted February 13, 2002 It would be a shame to lose the colors of Caribbean architecture, as well as the beauty of the buildings and the wall that she is sitting on. Perhaps something could be done with the upper left-hand corner, but otherwise I would leave it alone. This is a beautiful photograph. Lannie Link to comment
