Untitled

The money was originally black and white. The door knob was from another set, and the door was from another job. The bills were shot individually with my RB67.

I'm not much of a photographer but a multimedia guy. The dollar bills are well layered.

Try more advanced image editors, you're way beyond adobe

Well.. Maybe it's just me but there's a thing that bothers me in this photo. It's really cool looking and all but the lighting is really fake.

The door handle has different lighting than anything in the photo, the keyhole really doesn't light anything but the door which is impossible and the bills are lit from different directions except one. The keyhole which resembles THE light source in this image. The bills don't even glow thru any light which should be the case in this situation.

The idea is very good, the original photos are of good quality but the execution is mainly cut and paste and some painting here and there. Basic photoshopping.

I hope you'll find some time thinking of the lighting next time.

Don't take me wrong. I'm not saying this is bad but with a start this good, I hoped you walked all the way thru.

Your comments are well taken, Jani. I believe the key to a successful composite is in the lighting. In my potatoes photo, I photographed each element specifically for that image. In this case, I was learning how to use Photoshop by fooling around with images I had already created. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

I agree with Jani, that the lighting looks fake. I am impressed with your Photoshop skills. You did an excellent job pasting everything together. This is extremely original. But it doesn't look real: with the light you have, the door knob shouldn't be so well lit, and the angle of light coming through the key hole shouldn't be so wide, or bright. I still like this photo.
