Thanks Charles - it was eight images in portrait mode stitched with photoshop CS5.  I then used content-aware to fill in some gaps that resulted from stitching.

Don't know how long it took you to do this, but the results are stunning!  Nothing I can critique.  I wish I had at least 1 shot half this good in my portfolio!  :-)
