Very good composition, love the pink to orange tones. Nice light on the main subjects and some birds flying in the distance is a little icing on the cake. A very good photo to my eyes, beautiful work.

I also like the birds in the distance which is better appreciated when you view this larger. Fabulous colors and the two boys give life to the image. Initially I thought the horizon was sloped but when I scrolled the image, it seems to be perfectly straight.

Well done and have a great holiday Season.

Ruud, thank you for commenting this picture, I appreciate it.

Hello Tony.  At first I thought that I had forgotten to check the horizon line, but I realize that it is the perspective of the waves that deceives us and makes us think that the picture is tilted.  Thank you very much for your critique, and I hope You have a Happy Holiday too!

Kind Regards,

Rosario.

A most welcome image for me at this time of year when I have tons of snow in my yard to deal with.  It's been a brutal winter up north and we'll be glad to see the end of it.  You've captured the rich tones of sunset with perfect exposure and had the presence of mind to turn on your flash for some detail in your beach subjects.  Ambient light and flash seem to be in perfect balance, a condition much sought after but all too often not achieved.  If these two are family you have an excellent candidate for the family album.  Best, LM.

You are very kind, Len, I appreciate your comments about this picture.  Here in the Southern hemisphere we are in summer, and in the north, I know, you are suffering inclement weather. Thanks a lot for your critique.

Regards,

Rosario.
