Rapture

The last beams of daylight filter through an old lattice window onto a

praying monk in a rarely visited temple in Bagan, Burma.

Wow, this is really spiritual.  Well captured and composed.  National Geographic material.

Excellent composition, superb use of light and shadow, great spiritual concept...very good job!

The multiple diagonal beams of light really make a spiritual connection here! Interesting too to see the resulting shadow/ light on the wall behind the monk.

This is a finely crafted travel photo from an exotic location, and it stands out to me for its deft use of light as a subject. I'm curious whether the young monk selected this pose himself or accepted suggestion.
