Lightning Storm_FINAL

I'm starting to get interested in photography. I was just wondering

what your thoughts were on this picture, it's one of my first that I

thought was good enough to show people. I just need some advice I

guess. What I'm doing right/wrong so I can improve on my skills and

photos. Thank you for your time and critiques they are much

appreciated.

As a newbie myself, do not feel qualified to offer much more critique than " I'd be happy with the shot". Never tried to capture lightening photos myself but have long admired them - yours is added to them.

A good image is what you like, the rest of us may/not be along for your particular ride.  Having said that, stellar image.  Crisp, clean, & framed well. Exposure & DOF spot on.  Keep them comming, and thanks for this one.

I think that you are willing to go out in such weather to capture this is ver admirable. This type of shot can be a hit or a miss. I do like it. The horizon looks a little out but I think this is an illusion of the landscape. It does seem underexposed. A fine shot.

I think it's a wonderful shot, and I think it's properly exposed as is.  It looks light a night thunderstorm.

Hey everyone, thanks for the comments, it means a lot to hear from other people. It is a night shot, I got 3 or 4 good shots that night. I also like taking meteor pictures and have caught a few. Take care everyone thanks again.
