I LOVE IT! I feel a wee bit sorry for the taters, but still... I LOVE IT!!!

Only 1 thing that could make this even better is the use of an appropriate background.

Looking at this image, I am embarrassed by my meager skills. I do not even know how a person would approach an image like this. It opens the door of possibility! You've really taught me something about bringing dreams alive.

A photo shop image, nothing else. Is that what photography is all about. Why bother with a camera.

Great work, great use of light, cameras and composition. Mastery at Photoshop.

 

If its hard to make a good photograph, its even harder to make many to conceive an end result as the Mashed Potatoes.

 

For those of you who still concider that PS is graphic art, try construct in your mind and film the pictures required to put together this kind of work! Then, take a camera or two and make the pictures with the quality and assemblage requirements for the end result and see how EASY it is.

 

Imagination and technique open new boundaries in photography...to point and shoot is just the begining of everything. Open your mind and take the challange of making a great photo composite come together, then talk to us about photography and graphics.

I think your lighting staff, set director, photographer and production specialists should all be given a HUGE raise ;-)) Simple elements, with humourous creativity and perfect execution! We are not worthy! :-))

On a side note I think it's so sad that there are people would actually give you a 1 for aesthetics, inexcusable :-((

Thanks, Leo and Barry, for your inspiring words! Not much to say about the "1". The rating system is confusing to many and there are a bunch of people out there that feel that digital manipulations don't fall into a photography category. Perhaps they don't realize or care about the time and effort it took to plan and execute each photo in this image. No need to fret - the overall response has been wonderful and that's what matters most of all to me. I've added another face to the image - I have to figure out how to load it here.
