Hi Colin,

A beautiful  flower well shot. The color saturation level is very well developed by the combination of the Nikon D7000 and this lens.

The Sigma 150 mm F/2.8 macro is one of my favorite third party lens that I use from one of my collections. Its performance exceeds that of the Canon 180 F/3.5 L macro lens. While the micro Nikkor 105 F/2.8 lens is a bit better, I like the working distance with the 150 mm lens and the speed of F/2.8, especially for imaging dangerous or shy species. I also use the outstanding Nikkor 200 mm F/4 macro for extended range close up work, too. In all, I own all the finest macro lens including those from Nikon, Canon, Pentax, Olympus, Hasselblad, Mamiya, Carl Zeiss, Leica , Bronica, other third party lens and several mirror-less macro lens as well.

Best Regards, Mike

Thanks for your visit Mike. I am experimenting with hand held ,I find it difficult at close range, but will persist! Best regards Col.
