John Peri 1,029 Posted November 29, 2013 Very effective with an astute choice of coulouring, must have required a lot of work, but well worth the effort, bravo .. Link to comment
timothymuffitt 1 Posted November 29, 2013 Hi Pierre,This has been alluded to in a previous comment, but just to reinforce...it is clearly the individuality of each figure that makes this so engaging. Had a lesser artist come up with this brilliant idea, (highly unlikely), it might have been tempting to just repeat the same figure, but your slight variations of pose, expression, gaze and of course hats... is what really drives this home. OK..next project for you, a wide-angle, arial desert shot with all your desert icons together!...the camel, telephone, sparrow, ducks, the roller blader, I think we had a chicken in there once, shadows all helter skelter,...what do you think??I am joking of course...keep these great ones coming my friend! Love 'em!Tim Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 268 Posted November 29, 2013 Thank you, John! All my pictures aren't exactly snapshots, but this one took a bit more time, selecting nine figures and arranging them, coloring the hats...a bit more, as I said! But nothing much! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 268 Posted November 29, 2013 Timothy, such project was in my mind when I first started this one, after the roller-skate guy and the horseman! I wanted to disperse these nine figures all around and it's still in consideration! The lizard is many times an observer and why not include him too!Thank you my dear friend! PDE Link to comment
timothymuffitt 1 Posted November 29, 2013 Of course the lizard!! How could I forget him! Can't wait...what fun!Tim Link to comment

GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted November 29, 2013 I'm still stuck at 'Nine Twins'!!! I can't figure out if it should actually be 5 pairs of twins, or 10 twins, or 'Neuf-ettes'???? Whatever the case may be, your layering skills amaze me. The clarity of the composition is excellent. Extremely well done Pierre!! This composition certainly stood out and caught my eye!! hamidfarzandian 0 Posted November 29, 2013 Its a strong photo! Perplexing repetition of subject with differing colors are so exceptional. Its immediately draw attention at preview size, and stunning at full size. The composition is so balanced, and color/light are flawless and attractive. Bravo. My best regards,Hamid. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 268 Posted November 29, 2013 Dear Gail, I already had a debate about remark that they must be nonettes! I simply didn't know that twins may be only two! As I said above I don't how it goes even in my own language!Thank you for your compliments for the picture! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 268 Posted November 29, 2013 Welcome, Hamid and thank you for your detailed observation and critique! I must tell you though that you haven't seen them full size and it isn't for printing on actual size! But it isn't my fault, the technique is to blame for it! PDE Link to comment
