vsmith 0 Posted November 19, 2013 Only in south Arkansas do we have roses in November. So I couldn't help but take advantage of the opportunity. All critique welcome. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas Esquire 143 Posted November 20, 2013 But a bit or more out of focus and the difficult red color not managed well, no details due to the wrong focus, supposedly! Here is an example of well managed red color just on a red rose! Best regards, Verlinda! PDE Link to comment
nicolerenee 0 Posted November 27, 2013 This is a hard one, because it looks like the focus in off, and the saturation is a bit too high which is forcing the red to almost go magenta. With close up shots like this, the focus has got to be right on or it throws the whole image off. The light is very nice and soft, though. Check out some paintings by Georgia O'Keefe and you can get a feeling for a really strong composition with close up elements of flowers. All the best! Link to comment
