Guest Guest Posted November 26, 2013 Nice comment to generations and time. Even the brownish tint and the white of the little boy's face seems very well suited. Link to comment
Bachir 0 Posted November 27, 2013 Beautiful but it also remind me of "the old man and the sea" (Hemingway's book) anyway it is really a charming photograph. Best wishes, Link to comment

Jeff Lear 0 Posted December 3, 2013 The beauty of this photograph lies not only in what is there but what isn't. One of the most difficult tasks, as a photographer, is to be transparent. The subjects in Magnar's photo appear so immersed in joy that everything else is irrelevant and that emotion is passed on to the viewer who can easily forget that there was a man riding in the bow with a camera. Beautiful photograph and so deserving of the winner's trophy. Congratulations, Magnar! Link to comment

magnar_b_rnes 0 Posted December 3, 2013 Thanks for your inspiring words, and votes! This picture is a very true portrait of my father. He loves fishing, and he loves to bring his grandchildren with him. I was very happy to capture the moment. Thanks to my daughter Aurora and my father, whose good relationship made the picture possible. Link to comment
solamnus 2 Posted December 5, 2013 Congratulations on a great image. I was one of the better ones for sure in this competition. It is a simple image but one with emotions in it and that is always the best essence in a photo in my opinion./Martin Link to comment
