yanzhang 1 Posted November 15, 2013 Getting to Minaret Lake in INYO National Forest in winter is not trivial. We hiked two days for 16 miles while all trails were covered by the snow. We camped one night in Minaret Lake. This image was taken on 3 November 2013. From the high viewpoint, I witnessed the first light shedding on the Minaret Mountain Summit. Thanks for viewing this image. Link to comment
w-j-li 0 Posted November 15, 2013 Very nice gold light. The snow gives more details of the dark places. Very nice composition. Best Regards, Link to comment

mountaineer1965 0 Posted October 14, 2014 Another incredible image. I'll make the following statement only because it is the type of questions I ask myself of my own work: Did you do a composition looking just a little more to camera right? I feel like the furthest left portion of this image is the weakest part of this image, maybe a little less strong is a better way to put it :-) If I block out the left side at about the point where the sunlight hits the trees I tend to like the composition a little better. Anyway, that just my thought and regardless this is still a wonderful image and I really enjoy browsing your portfolio. Keep up the stellar work and I look forward to seeing what you do next. BTW, this is a pretty solid 7!Craig Link to comment
