I just know which photos will do good and wchich will do bad on this service. It is not in quality of the image but regretably in the audience... :(

Chris, I'm going to disagree with the above comment. I reallly enjoy the DOF. It gives the already somewhat high-key composition an ethereal feel...I dig it!

I love this photo and the daring, shallow depth of field, and perfect timing! It takes a photographer to appreciate this sort of work, I'm surprised this work hasn't attracted more comments. It's beautiful.

I too like the shallow DOF. I think I would enjoy the photo even more if you could see the transition from in-focus to blurry on the side of the dog's face and neck. The dog's face seems to float above the rest of the photo, not something that I feel works very well in this photo. But of course this is all MVHO. It is definitely a very nice shot.

Crhis. This is a really nice image. I love the tone and the DOF, but what really attracts me of this shot is how the only blacks in the photo are in the dog´s eyes and nose. Did you get to it in the darkroom?.

Good work!.

Yes, I had done some dodgeing, but only in one place. When I was furnishing my house I tried to see it in B&W. Every room is "photo ready". I will post some images from my house in near future... :)

The controlled DOF is superb! The high key approach works very well. Not the usual puppy picture, they're in focus everywhere! :-))

This photograph needs absolutely nothing...least of all more DOF. It is perfect just as it is. There should be an 8/8 rating for this one.
