joscelyn_sylvester 0 Posted October 31, 2013 Quite amazing. Wonderfully beautiful. The white portion is pristine , well exposed with good color balance. There are some black spots that I would clone out. Link to comment
Laura Weishaupt 3,780 Posted October 31, 2013 Hi Serge,It's off to a good start with the fungi being young and not fully developed. They have a pleasant color and overall the framing is keeps the eyes moving. To me, it's on the overexposed side. It could have more contrast to bring out the details. What's really marring the image, for me, are the large breaks in the caps. They break up the flow. The spatter treatment on the edge is interesting, but it's serving to accentuate the white material (from broken caps?) that is laying on caps throughout the image. A cleaner edge might be more complimentary to the attractive crisp lines in the image. The dark spots can be cloned out, as mentioned above. I do think the image has nice qualities, but can be improved the next time around.Best Wishes,Laura Link to comment
