ken_thalheimer 3,739 Posted August 25, 2003 Very good B&W Louis! I like the placement of the subject. There's actually a lot of different tones in the boy's skin and it's also very sharp as seen by the water droplets on his body Link to comment

root 0 Posted August 29, 2003 This got so many high rates that I thought I'd be courteous enough to wait until the three day period was over to ask you why I shouldn't jump up and down and scream and yell about the thing growing out of his head . . . :-) Except for that, it's an excellent shot. But still . . . . . Link to comment
louis1 0 Posted August 30, 2003 Thanks Carl. The shape behind him is another person. I think it was a female photographer who was wandering through the fountains shooting. I guess I could dodge it a bit but for the moment I'll leave it. Louis Link to comment
louis1 0 Posted September 6, 2005 As an update I printed this for a big exhibition and deleted the patch above the head. I also cropped top and bottom to get a near letterbox effect. it was definitely stronger. It is now in this folder. Thanks to Carl. louis Ps the image was picked and now travelling around with other selected ones. Link to comment
paul a. roid 0 Posted January 21, 2006 great! actually, I like this version better than the crop, despite the patch Link to comment
louis1 0 Posted January 21, 2006 Hi Markus uncropped gives more of the environment. Cropped is more immediate impact. Visited your portfolio and immediately marked you as interesting -very. All the best Louis Link to comment
