This was a fun, but cold ride!

Railroads, especially steam engines, are always fascinating.

this is a great rendition of a soul stirring event. 

Nice.  I like old trains and fall and this really captures both.  The fall foilage in the background, grey sky, and muted colors give this a really chilly fall feeling.  The train, and billowing smoke are very neat.  The only thing I didn't like was the power lines and couple of intruding branches.  I played a little in photoshop and cloned out the lines and a branch or two.  It's not perfect, just a different look.  Thanks for sharing.

Sorry, understand completly that you have to take the shot as it is presented at the time, branches, powerlines and all - I meant to note that I got that, then forgot.  It was just such a nice shot I thought it'd be interesting to see the alternative.
