It's a very nice photograph with good exposure parameters. I would keep the camera's native ratio of 3:2 which imo suits the scene perfectly. It would also cut out much of the backdrop which is quite graphic (busy) and perhaps intrusive. I'd 'throw' more light on them and reduce the contrast a tad.

See your point.

I used this format as it was the "best" given the raw frame. I edited the shots from Berlin after having read Ming Thein´s blogpost "do not crop". I like his possition on croping because it forces us to create as good as possible composition given gear and physical circumstance.

I see that other might have a different standing on such approach, but it explains why the original was edited the way it was. I will add such information the next time I post a picture where a tighter cropping might have created a different composition than the one that was actually shot.
