These two young males were fighting each other the other day. I

managed to get a few decent images through the trees surrounding them.

Do you think a closer crop would be better? I tried it, but am leaning

towards the wider view. They seem less... confined.

I think the first version is  a priory too RHS corpped ( and it is not an easy situation)

.I think that the second version is better showing the fight.. Was a fiminin turkey around...;-))?

Anyway, the two  connected heads are doing the composition !...

Thanks for commenting. These turkeys are semi-domesticated. They are happy to eat the corn I put out for them and they stay within a half mile radius of their coop, always returning at night. But they won't let anyone get too close to them. They are from the same group of chicks as in this imagehttp://gallery.photo.net/photo/17326453-md.jpg

They're pretty much all grown up now and normally the young turkey males would be subordinate to their father. And he would keep them in line. But a few weeks ago my dog got a hold of my old turkey and he didn't survive it. Without an older male around, the two brothers are constantly fighting trying to establish dominance over each other. The problem is that they are pretty equal, so it just keeps going, neither wanting to submit to the other. But I've already found a new home for one of the males and a female to keep him company. So in a couple days all will become peaceful again with the turkeys.

Thanks for your great explanation. I think that what you are describing, fits as well to the human world... ( sorry to say....;-))

Do you have  a farm of some kind?]

I like as well the second version with the young ones. beautiful color, form and BG.
