yanzhang 1 Posted October 13, 2013 The Moeraki Boulders are unusually large and spherical boulders lying along a stretch of Koekohe Beach on the wave cut Otago coast of the South Island of New Zealand between Moeraki and Hampden. They occur scattered either as isolated or clusters of boulders within a stretch of beach where they have been protected in a scientific reserve. This photo was taken on 30 April 2013, the setting sun illuminated the light on the horizon as the sky was already filled of stars. Thanks for viewing this image. Link to comment
w-j-li 0 Posted October 13, 2013 Like the silky water, the starts, and far away light, and main subject of the tow unusual rocks. Well composed. Best Regards, Link to comment
gardena 0 Posted October 13, 2013 Yan Zhang, I have seen many photos of these boulders (although not the real thing) but never with the tide in. A whole new view! Link to comment

martinforget 0 Posted October 17, 2013 Tx for the description. I like the colors, the compo and the light between them. If it wasnt for the noise and red chroma in the sky Iwould have put a perfect note. Very original and beautifull. regards, martin Link to comment
