ssonne 0 Posted August 23, 2003 Fantastic light, beautiful tones, excellent detail...love everything about this except the crop, feels to close for me...would love to see it a little wider...Beautiful image, nice work ! Link to comment
nanasousadias 0 Posted August 23, 2003 Great portrait, amazing tones! My scanner (Epson 1640) would never achieve this! Wich one do you use? Link to comment
randy_january 0 Posted August 24, 2003 Congrats on a really great shot. The only thing I might have liked a little different is that since the wall has detail on the left I might have liked the DOF to include detail of the wall on the right. Regardless this is one of my favorites that I have seen here. Link to comment
slonaker 0 Posted August 24, 2003 LOVE all the textures in this picture!! The expression and the lighting are top notch as well. Super shot! Link to comment
roger_stevens 0 Posted August 25, 2003 Chris, This is fantastic. As everyone has mentioned, the tones are amazing. If you can get this to look this nice on my monitor, I can only imagine what the print itself looks like. The expression and mood work well together. I also like the highlight from the reflector I presume in the top of her pupil. I t makes her eyes pop out that much more. Very well done. Link to comment
ssonne 0 Posted August 25, 2003 Hi Chris, I'm curious where the reflector was for this shot, I assumed it was in front of her to lighten the shadows on the left side of her face etc...would you mind describing the lighting a little ? Link to comment
toja.com 0 Posted August 25, 2003 The reflector was to our right about 45 deg. in front of her. It refelcts in the bottom of her eyes. Link to comment
threeleaf 0 Posted July 15, 2004 This lady has been blessed with beauty and a sense of mystery that you can touch - how perfect it is then that you take a photograph of her with the skills, direction and vision that you possess. 7/7 again Link to comment
