GailAnthonyHarmer 6 Posted October 6, 2013 Hi Pierre,I really don't have any philosophical views on this image, not because there aren't any - I am just very weary of governments and congresses that bicker and lie and don't properly represent the people. My head is actually spinning and I'm very confused about it all. I do have to admit I don't really know what Country you live in, and that would help, then perhaps I could study up on what has been going on in the last 50 years. I have see a 'theme' like this in many of your wonderful Abstracts. I would love to understand your situation better. At the moment there are such atrocities all over the world happening every minute of every day (probably with even more frequency'. So many people are downtrodden and oppressed. I think things are beginning to 'swirl' out of control - It is a manmade situation, but I don't think if you asked those who have contributed to the situation would ever STEP FORWARD.I really do find it all very sad. There are no 'band-aid' remedies or quick solutions anymore. But as I said, I would really like to understand the situation in your Country better, so as to better understand your works.Always looking for a brighter tomorrow, Gail Link to comment
gregverena 342 Posted October 6, 2013 Pierre, are you sure this is an eagle, looks to me more like a hawk, but it seems that the eagle infers more war experiences. A hawk is swift and it will fly away, anyway, the guy with the gun seems to be a bad shot! I am more of an idealistic pacifist! Verena Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 272 Posted October 7, 2013 Dear Gail, don't be upset! It's the history of the mankind and it's also the situation all over the world, like in my area which is called Balkans! And that specific situation is described above! It's all about greed, power, nationalism, interference of those who "export" freedom and democracy all around the world making that way a mess of it whole...that's about all! PDE Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 272 Posted October 7, 2013 Verena, I probably meant to ridicule the "innocent yearning for rights" of those who the eagle represents, otherwise I have more eagle like PSD files of the same eagle! The man with the gun as a matter of fact only defends his "courtyard" and that's me! And I was really among the defenders of my country in that senseless war for more rights of ethnic minority or was it more shrewd attempt for achievement of the for ages old territorial pretensions! I know what it was, in one word dirty politics which sacrificed a lot of innocent young "birds" for greedy purposes of the shrewd ones!Thank you for your visit and comment! PDE Link to comment
ajay_ramakrishnan 0 Posted October 7, 2013 If I were the bird, I'd rather die for my freedom to fly! Foolish bird, eh? Hahaaha... Nice one, Pierre.Best regards, Ajay. Link to comment

ajay_ramakrishnan 0 Posted October 9, 2013 Hi Pierre,Sorry to hurt your feelings, my friend! You're right. I just saw the picture and posted my comment without going through the preceding ones and your replies. I should have. Link to comment
Pierre Dumas 272 Posted October 9, 2013 My dear Ajay, you couldn't possibly hurt my feelings, cause I don't have them and I just noted that you were like every serious, busy man short of time to get information about this picture which happens to be socially, politically and if you will - scientifically engaged! I'm on the other hand very much obliged and pleasantly surprised by your reacting speed to my meager so called invitation in this case! So, don't worry, be happy my dear friend and thank you for your care and comment! kazimir 5 Posted October 10, 2013 When I saw the picture few days ago my first thought was that eagles are bothering you again which was confirmed with a correspodence above.I'm interested in a texture which resembles the water - one drop too many? All the best!!! Link to comment

jim_j2 9 Posted October 12, 2013 Pierre,Interesting composition and, as always, excellent processing! From the birds expression, . . . either he's been "goosed" or a "warning shot" has already been fired! Thought provoking image yet, with some humor in my thoughts! Cheers dear Pierre,Jim j. pnital 36 Posted October 15, 2013 In my point of view, it is the hunter and his pray, the bird's eyes are showing the coming danger. A symbol of what human are inflicting on to nature. Well done ,Pierre. Link to comment
