It is very intense Pierre. For some reason I get the feeling that the new cameras just mean 'big bucks' and not everyone can keep up with the technology that is out there. Ahhh, I bet you have a 'more gentle' expression!!! the lines in your forehead would be deep furrows by now if you had such a 'stern ' expression all the time. Good head shot though. Your compositions always render lots of 'conversation' that is always interesting.

sincere regards, 'Wizard'...Gail

Tony, it was long time ago and it was my first digital and I was delighted with its possibilities, maybe you are right saying that the golden coins might mean that the camera makes worthy products! Now, that model is even forbidden on some stock photos selling sites!

Thank you for your thorough observation and for the implying that my works are gold worthy!

Gail, I have really always that "stern" look, knowing that when I took pictures of me I'm trying to smile, as a matter of fact I'm thinking that I'm smiling, but again always that expression, no trace of smile!

You are right about the fast ever growing quality (and price) and demand for quality in the field of photography!

Thank you for your visit and nice observation!

A chill ran down my spine.  This one has a spooky aspect to it. Gives one pause if tempted to reach for the coins or camera.  From your looks alone I must agree with Mike.  Would rather have you on my side than on the opposing team.  Best, LM.

Len, you've been so scarred that you thought I was ghost or something or just a bully? This is the look of the ghosts of those who like money too much and don't care for nothing else during their life!

Thank you for your flattering comment my dear friend!

Hi Pierre, lots of interpretations here, that's the good part of photography as an art. For me it's like this: You are sitting there thinking why photography is taking all your money from you; so many software to buy to process images, different cameras and  lenses and so on to keep a good job as a photographer, as you think in all these, your become more serious and that explain why you are mad!!!! Excellent image, I enjoy reading all comments!!

Warmest regards,

LuDa

Welcome, Luisa! So, you read the comments and and saw that the primary idea was the camera to bring earnings to the photographer, but the reality showed on what you reduced the comments to! And I am not mad or angry, just serious, ha!

Thank you for your precious visit, I wish you visited me more often, at least as much as I visit you! You write interesting and thoughtful critiques!

Hi Pierre

Photography often withdraw the money more than what it could provide, but nevertheless remains the special pleasure in the heart of the artist and nor can resist.

It's a joy to have a new toy, anyway! After all we are playing a game all our life, game of survival and game for joy! The camera, for me, belongs to the last! Thank you for your visit and objective comment, Museeb!

Hi, Pierre! Looking good :)! And Wishful thinking, of course! You are expressing our thoughts and hopes. But I agree with Alf: there's so much more to all this - let's say, photo.net, virtual friends,( but they are still real) :) ! By the way, I like the light on your face. Warmest regards, Tamara
